My obsession with taking dog photographs began about 10 years go when we acquired our first English Cocker Spaniel. My husband would train him hard for field trials, so "Buster" knew many commands. After my husband left for work, MY work began! I grabbed my camera and props and photographed my husband's "manly hunting dog" in many silly poses! I continued with Buster's "wife" and now their daughter, Hannah. I entered many of my photographs in contests, and won! I had requests to dress up and photograph friends' and family pets, and this led to my passion for capturing lasting memories of your pets!!I currently volunteer at the Erie County SPCA taking photos of the adoptable animals to post on their website. I look forward to socializing with and photographing those sweet animals! I have been known to bring silly props and little backdrops to try to get the cutest photos possible so someone can connect with their picture and bring them to their "furever" home!
Past accomplishments:
Publication of dog field trial photos in Spaniels In The Field Magazine and Ruffed Grouse Society Magazine.
Photo winner for Kodak. My photo was featured on the Kodak screen in Times Square for the day on August 13, 2006! My husband and I took a road trip so I could see it in person!
